JOB TITLE: KDP GRADER
REPORTS TO: KDP/ Twisting Production Manager
PURPOSE:
To safely and efficiently examine textured yarn for quality standards and advance yarn for customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Dye yarn sock samples to spec
- Inspect/ Grade yarn socks for quality
- Help with pull through
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work safely
- Ability to read and write and follow directions
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Ability to understand and follow KDP Grader standard work procedures
- Ability to grade quality: first and off quality
- Ability to use scales and computer
- Ability to work with dyes and chemicals
- Good communication skills
MACHINES, TOOLS, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT:
Yarn, pen, scissors, dyes, chemicals, vat, dryer, computer, yarn, pin trucks
AUTHORIZED TRAINING TIME: 8-12 Weeks
