The Role

Responsible for driving and promoting Milliken-Ontera’s Product Portfolio and Service with key involvement within the Corporate, End User, Builders, Building Facility Management and A&D community in order to expand and grow business in the Auckland market.

The Successful Applicant Will Have:

  • A strong 'hunter' sales drive, with confidence and resilience for a competitive market
  • A proven sales track record in driving revenue, pipeline management and meeting sales targets (5+ years)
  • Exceptional presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying new business opportunities and growing and maintaining long term business relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with the wider organisation
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail across product, technical and design information
  • Excellent project and time management skills
  • A strong professional work ethic, demonstrating initiative and integrity
  • A desire to work in one of the world’s most ethical and sustainable companies




  • Provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to grow revenue and profitability
  • Required to communicate product & technical information (e.g. specification documents, test certificates)
  • Reach out to project and customer leads by pro-actively cold calling
  • Must work with all product enquiries across Sales, Finance, Supply Chain and Technical departments
  • Understand and maintain market knowledge
