JOB TITLE:              VOH Process Improvement Specialist   


REPORTS TO:         Process Improvement Manager


PURPOSE:                Responsible for operations and quality .  



  1. Participate in Plant Safety Programs including plant wide safety meetings, subcommittee meetings, R3 projects, etc.
  2. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Identifying and eliminating potential safety hazards in the plant.
  3. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Create and modify new or existing specs in accordance with documented instructions.
  4. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Establish and maintain process metrics and systems utilizing data collection and manufacturing best practices.
  5. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Take appropriate action to increase process reliability
  6. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Lead associate accountability through meetings and documented conversations.
  7. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Submit Procedure changes.
  8. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Assist in the development of new products   
  9. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to assist in training of new associates.

  3. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Demonstrate a professional attitude and appearance in all day tasks
  4. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Establish clear and effective communication  
  5. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Basic Math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
  6. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to operate: Lines 1,2, & 3 in the Paladin Department.
  7. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to recognize defects and classify them according to root cause
  8. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to make necessary quality/physical testing cutouts.
  9. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to verify the material identification
  10. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Computer Skills: SAP, MS Office, Email, etc.
  11. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Strong discipline
  12. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Ability to multitask and manage multiple processes/activities at one time.
  13. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Self-Motivation  
  14. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Must be able to work required schedule including rotating shifts/on-call demands.

  1. Minimum education level or High School or GED, preferred education beyond high school.
  2. <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Knowledge of Finishing Process
