POSITION OVERVIEW
The Kingsley Senior HR Generalist position directs and manages all HR operations of the site. The position helps coordinate on/off boarding, data integrity, and provides guidance and expertise on HR policies. The Senior HR Generalist has responsibility for all HR functions including safety, employment, development, training, benefit administration, and communication. This role is based in Thomson, GA at Milliken's Kingsley Plant.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
- Consistently administer core Human Resources functions and compliance areas to include:
- Safety Process
- Company Policies and Procedures
- Benefits Program
- Salary Administration
- Workers Compensation
- Verbal and written communication, and ability to interact effectively to all production, administrative, and management associates, as well as corporate HR staff
- Lead the talent acquisition process including developing/maintaining job descriptions, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates, maintaining the Talent Central job posting system
- Leads the location Safety Process (safety process using Enablon, attend safety steering committee team meetings, lead New Hire Safety class). Assists in managing OSHA Programs and Workers Compensation. Safety leadership is a significant part of this position.
- Act as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the Plant Manager, and management team on all location matters (strategic and operating)
- Lead special HR related projects and surveys
- Maintain specific reports and ensure timely completion (turnover, safety, local/regional compensation data)
- Manage the on-boarding process for new hires and the off-boarding process for voluntary/involuntary terminations
- Always demonstrate a high level of confidentiality
- Manage training associates by:

- Fostering a working environment that promotes open communications, teamwork and individual engagement to accomplish goals and objectives
- Ensuring that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner

- Ensuring that written performance evaluations of supervised employees are completed as required, provides continuous feedback on personnel performance issues, and takes immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems.
- Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff.
- Support Milliken’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies and initiatives.
- Support Textile Operations engagement and morale initiatives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field with preferably 5+ years of hands-on HR experience.
- Proven leader that is highly motivated, self-driven, and open-minded individual who is capable of accomplishing tasks and projects in a limited supervision environment.
- Attention to accuracy of highly detailed information
- Knowledge of Employment Law, Benefits Administration, Compensation and Wage Structure
- Willingness to be CPR/1st Aid Certified
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous HR manufacturing experience
- SAP/Success Factors Experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with OSHA Guidelines and Workplace Safety Processes
- Experience with Audiometric & Drug Testing Guidelines

SHIFT/WORK HOURS
Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (on call 24/7)
Travel to other locations as needed.
