POSITION TITLE

Human Resource Administrative Associate 

 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW


This position is located at the Kingsley Plant in Thomson, GA and reports to the Employment Manager. The Human Resources Administrative Associate position support on operational human resources related issues, including communication of policies, training, human resource reporting, hiring, benefits administration and data entry.  The HR Admin is the first point of contact for Kingsley associates for all benefits and personnel issues. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement at all times.
  • Administer Onboarding, Leave, Offboarding, and other personnel tasks utilizing business processes and checklists provided in through OneHR system and verify proper execution.
  • Assist associates and advise staff regarding personnel, benefits and pay issues.
  • Administer Pulmonary, Audio, and Substance testing for new hires.  Maintain testing matrix and schedule bi-annual, annual, and 24-month testing prior to deadlines to meet plant, Corporate, and OSHA requirements.
  • Work with recruiting partners and SAP Recruiting to fill production roles internally.
  • Administer onboarding training.
  • Maintain personnel files, records, and reports accurately and in accordance with company document retention rules.
  • Prepare information, reports, and documents for period end, monthly, etc.
  • Maintain Badge and Key System. 
  • Assist associates and advise staff regarding personnel, benefits and pay issues.
  • File partial unemployment claims and respond to unemployment claims as needed.
  • Help plan and implement events.  Get quotes, order, pickup food, and supplies.
  • Create & maintain audit schedules.  Track safety engagement.  Maintain associate of the period drawings. 
  • Maintain recognition cabinet and obtain supplies as needed.
  • Administer birthday and Christmas card program.
  • Maintain plant Safe Audit Schedules, CPR lists, phone lists.
  • Maintain first aid cabinet inventories, etc.
  • Maintain Human Resources digital and printed signage.
  • Greet visitors and answer phones.
  • Maintain excellent regular and predictable attendance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Able to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement.
  • Ability to speak, write and read the English language
  • Ability to read and accurately prepare a variety of documents and reports including requisitions, Leave of Absence (General and FMLA), Insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, & COBRA) and other office correspondence
  • Ability to communicate and interact with other associates, vendors, and the general public, while exhibiting poise, voice control and confidence
  • Proficient in PC hardware components, desktop operation system software, Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Able to work alone on broad variety of projects.
  • Able to maintain attention to detail and consistency despite interruptions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFERRED

  • Minimum 2-year Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in SAP.
