Project Manager



This role will be integral to our enterprise digital transformation.  The driving force behind constant business growth is the presence of skilled and dedicated project managers.  We’re searching for a highly skilled project manager to contribute to Milliken’s growth and help us maintain our position as an innovative authority.  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing company as well as strong work plan development and progress oversight skills.  He/She will be expected to prepare and present progress updates to appropriate channels on a regular basis, and help develop long-term strategic roadmaps. In addition, this role will be an important catalyst to digital thinking in the “art of the possible” and architecting solutions that support future needs.


This position is based at our corporate headquarters located in Spartanburg, SC.  Travel requirements are minimal but may be occasionally necessary to provide on-site support for projects.



•          Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality     and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects

•          Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third-party vendors

•          Responsible for innovation and end-to-end launch of products.

•          Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks

•          Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features and user stories

•          Evaluate and implement improvements on digital strategy

•          Analyze and report on digital initiatives

•          Transform vision/roadmaps into actionable projects and backlog items.

•          Training business users on new functionality.




•          BS Degree

•          At least 5+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Product Development

•          At least 2+ years of experience in Scrum Master role / Agile

•          Proven success working with all levels of management

•          Strong written and verbal communication skills

•          Analytics / Business Intelligence experience

•          Excellent Project Management skills needed

•          Possess broad knowledge of best digital practices

•          Experience coaching and educating project teams to strengthen team members’ capabilities and skill sets

•          Preferred PMP Certification
