POSITION TITLE
Innovation Data Analyst
This position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to create and implement data-centric strategies aimed at enhancing decision-making, optimizing processes, and speeding up product development. Key responsibilities include designing analytical visualizations, developing data models, exploring data science techniques, and collaborating with various departments to improve business outcomes through data-driven solutions. The primary focus will be on innovation and research data across all business units. This role is based at our Spartanburg, SC headquarters and follows a hybrid work model, with three days on-site and two days remote.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
· Data Analysis: Collect, process, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and
insights.
· Model Development: Create and implement statistical models and machine learning
algorithms to solve complex business problems.
· Business Process Support: Leverage data analytics and AI to optimize product
development, innovation processes, and decision-making.
· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs
and provide analytical support.
· Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to effectively communicate
findings to stakeholders.
· Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously
improve data analysis processes.
QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED
· This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for a work visa (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.).
· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science,
or a related field.
· Experience: Experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
· Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL, and
experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
· Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
