POSITION TITLE

IT Advanced Quality Assurance Analyst I

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Milliken is seeking a skilled SAP FICO Quality Assurance Analyst to join our IT Department. This position will play a key role in the IT Department on a product team in the SAP FICO area and reports to the Business Applications Manager. The analyst works closely with the product team to test SAP FICO system features, develop tests to identify defects, and ensure the quality and completeness of testing. The Analyst will be responsible for actively participating in all aspects of quality assurance, including creating, executing, and documenting tests, tracking issues and defects, and providing user guides to business and end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) testing phase. The goal is to ensure that the software meets acceptance criteria and delivers a high-quality user experience. This role is based out of our corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC and offers a Hybrid work schedule.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and execute various test scenarios and scripts, including smoke, functional, system integration, regression, and User Acceptance Testing.

 

· Design, create, document, and implement test plans, test cases and test results to ensure software application quality.

 

· Evaluate, test, and validate the work being done by the scrum team each sprint, and adapt quickly to changes in requirements or user stories.

 

· Collaborate closely with product analysts and developers to understand the requirements and user stories.

 

· Identify, report, monitor, and follow-up on software defects and issues, and write clear, concise bug reports and effectively communicate issues with developers and product owners.

 

· Review and analyze test results to ensure software meets specified requirements and standards.

 

· Collaborate with various teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

 

· Maintain tests and user guide documentation and be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication.

 

· Be responsible for following through and making sure defects are reported and escalated appropriately.

 

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED

· BS degree in IT related field or 7 years equivalent work experience.

 

· 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance field and SAP FICO testing.

 

· Requires working knowledge in SAP S4 HANA FICO business processes in manufacturing domain - Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Credit management, Contract Settlements (Rebates), Controlling (including cost center and internal order type management, product costing, sales order costing).

 

· Strong capability in Microsoft Office software suite.

 

· Experience using a test management tool.

 

· Experience of working in an agile environment and must be familiar with JIRA.

 

· Good to have business process working experience in Sourcing/Procurement, Ariba, Concur, fixed assets, master data setup (Purchase Info record, Source List, Vendor setup).
