Individual in this position will be part of a dynamic team with a proven track record of inventing, developing and commercializing FDA registered medical devices.  In this role, the individual will routinely interact with Division Leadership and Functional Leads including, but not limited to Sales, Marketing & Communication, R&D, Manufacturing, RA/QA and Clinical Support.  In this role the Associate will be responsible for activities in the following areas:

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Product Line Management
  • Conduct and direct competitive market research & analysis to impactfully position our products and technologies.
  • Develop and implement global pricing strategies consistent with the Division strategy.
  • Work directly with commercial teams in each region to grow the global business.
  • Work directly with R&D to identify and prioritize technology platforms and product line extensions
  • Work directly with Sales Leadership to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Work directly with Marketing & Communications Leadership to develop tactics and collateral that increase awareness and consideration of Milliken technologies and product offerings.
  • Work directly with Manufacturing and Planning to prioritize daily activity and yearly initiatives.

 

  1. New Business Development
  • Conduct extensive market research with customers, influencers and industry experts across all points in the value chain to: 1) validate concepts, 2) uncover salient market trends, and 3) understand key purchase criteria / trends / competitive landscape
  • Develop value propositions, pricing strategies, and insights to foster new business opportunities.
  • Generate new product specifications, initiate market / technical investigations, and develop / guide projects through the MHD stage gate process.

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Qualification Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or similar fields required. Relevant post-graduate degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of work experience in marketing, technical sales, product development or business development, most preferably in the medical device, healthcare consumer, dental, and/or adjacent industries
  • Demonstrated marketing & strategy development capabilities
  • Experience conducting multiple forms of primary and secondary market research and analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, and developing business strategy
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated drive towards proactive collaboration and team engagement
  • Proven track record of project or process management from inception to completion
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work thru complex data, providing insight summarization
  • Strong proficiency within the Microsoft suite of products.
