POSITION TITLE

Advanced Tax Analyst

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for working within Milliken’s corporate tax team to manage state and local taxes and provisions. The job is located at the company’s corporate headquarters in Spartanburg, SC and reports directly to the Director of State and Local Tax.  Any travel would be minimal.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support cross-functional team in the management of local and state tax policies 
• Prepare state and local income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all state and local laws, accuracy and completion
• Conduct tax research and interpret state and local regulations 
• Collaborate with international and federal tax teams 
• Identify and coordinate implementation of enhancements to current business processes 

QUALIFICATIONS – REQUIRED

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of income tax experience 

QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED

• CPA license 
• SAP and ONESOURCE experience
• Alteryx experience
