Job summary

Textile Development Engineer is responsible for managing the design and development process of textile products to ensure that products meet market demand and company standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research, visit customers and competitive analysis with the business team to understand market trends and customer needs, and design product development directions
• Responsible for the design and development of fabrics to make products innovative and in line with the needs of the Chinese market
• Familiar with the testing standards of the domestic market to ensure product quality meets company standards and customer requirements
• Determine and optimize the production process of R&D products to improve production efficiency and quality
• Conduct product testing and evaluation, resolve quality issues in development process and recommend improvements
• Manage costs in the product development process and ensure that it is within the budget, analyze the cost structure, and continuously optimize processes, improve quality, and reduce costs during actual operations.
• Manage R&D project progress to ensure new products are delivered on time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or above in textile engineering, textile design and other related fields

• Extensive working experience（at least 10 years） in the textile industry, including experience in fabric design and development, production management, etc.
• Familiar with upstream raw materials and knitting, dyeing, finishing, post-processing and other processes, and be able to evaluate and select appropriate upstream materials
• Experience leading new product project development and commercialization success
• Experience in research and development of knitted fabrics, experience in fleece products is preferred
• Have keen insight into market needs and trends, and be able to adjust product design and development directions according to market changes
• Good project management skills with the ability to develop project plans and timelines and effectively manage project progress and costs
• Ability to identify and resolve issues within projects to ensure products are delivered on time and of the required quality
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to work smoothly with suppliers, team members and other departments
• Able to communicate in English and discuss project plans with the headquarters

资格要求：

教育背景：染整或纺织专业毕业

工作经验：在纺织行业拥有丰富（至少10年）的针织染色，或针织织造，或针织产品研发经验， 熟悉产品设计和开发、生产管理等方面的经验， 如有抓绒产品经验优先

• 良好的项目管理技能，能够制定项目计划和时间表，并有效地管理项目进度和成本
• 能够识别和解决项目中的问题，确保产品按时交付和质量符合要求

• 能够英文沟通，与总部探讨项目方案
