POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will focus on new product development for Textile Division. You will report to Asia Technical Manager and will support the overall growth initiatives within Textile Division. In this role, you will work with the internal team and external partners to develop new products. Required travel will be approximately 25-50%.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate both internally and externally to identify and develop new materials and technologies.

• Perform test internally and externally to validate ideas and products feasibilities.

• Support development team and manufacturing partners from lab/prototype to full scale.

协助开发和生产团队完成从小样到大货量产

• Continuously seek improvement opportunities in areas of efficiency, automation, cost reduction, quality, and process improvement.

• Scout new technologies to expand product portfolios and businesses.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Textile or Material Science and Engineering

纺织或高分子材料专业，本科及以上学历

• Familiar with textile upstream and downstream general processes

了解或熟悉纺织品相关的上下游产品和流程

• Has in-depth knowledge about at least one of below textile processes:

Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, Lamination, etc.

以下纺织加工流程中，至少对其中一项具有深入的理解和知识：

纺纱/纺丝，机织，针织，染色，后整理，复合等

• Has in-depth knowledge about Synthetic fibers including filament and staple.

• Above 7 years’ work experience of product testing and development

• Strong interest to new materials and technologies

• Proactive, self-starter, highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills
