JOB SUMMARY:

 

East China Regional Sales Manager plays critical role in driving business growth in the region. This individual will be responsible for executing East China business strategy, managing East China region sales team, dealers’ network and working with design, marketing, and manufacturing to achieve business growth target in the region. This position directly reports to Great China Sales Director.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Represent Company in selling carpet products by communicating the company’s story and value proposition to customer (end-users) and customer influencers (dealers, contractors, A+D partners and project management firms).
  • Lead regional team in actively calling on the end use customers as well as Architects &Design partners and achieve the sales target set for the region.
  • Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.
  • Meet with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
  • Coach and grow team members in functional skills.
  • Evaluate team with guide of Great China Sales Director quarterly and annually
  • Develop and manage a strong dealer network. Be able to work closely with sales team and dealers to achieve following:
    • Ensure achievement of dealer sales targets
    • Minimize conflict amongst channel partners
    • Deal firmly but diplomatically with conflict situations when they inevitably arise.
    • Seek new partners to maximize market potentials when necessary
  • Be able to foster key client relationship and develop and maintain strong relationships with a network of market participants.
  • Prepare periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Co-ordinate business intelligence processes regarding market sizing / assessments, market segmentation,
  • Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of the competition.
  • Identify and explore any potential new market for growth opportunities, recruit new team members with support of management

 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree required. English fluency in writing and verbal required.
  • 10 years of commercial business experience in a design interiors, manufacturing, or distribution field, with extensive customer interaction and client focus.
  • 5-7 years management position with team management experience.
  • Experience of working in a multi-national context will be desirable.
  • Strong team player. Ability to integrate and work with a multi-national, cross-functional team are a must.
  • Strong skills in coaching and developing people. Ability to develop collaborative, performance-driven and transparent team culture.
  • Must be a self-starter with experience of taking initiative and leading new ideas.
  • Must possess very strong personal presence, interpersonal communication, and leadership skills.
  • A motivated, ambitious, and competent individual with strong business acumen and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to designated territories
