POSITION OVERVIEW

The Production Material Handler I is responsible for staging, moving, and delivering raw materials and finished goods to support production schedules. This role ensures accurate inventory handling, cleanliness of work areas, and compliance with company safety and quality standards.

El Manipulador de Materiales de Producción I es responsable de preparar, mover y entregar materias primas y productos terminados para apoyar los programas de producción.  ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supply and stage raw materials according to production requirements.
• Load/unload materials from machinery and transport equipment.
• Monitor material quality and notify supervisor of issues.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Support production efficiency by ensuring materials are available on time.
• Follow all company policies, safety rules, and procedures.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Apoyar la eficiencia de producción asegurando que los materiales estén disponibles a tiempo.

• Completar la documentación de manera precisa.
• Realizar otras tareas relacionadas según se asignen.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School degree or GED
• Ability to communicate at all levels and with the ability to understand and communicate ideas both verbally and written.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities

• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance and be in good standing with the company, adhering to all policies and performance expectations.

CALIFICACIONES MÍNIMAS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to speak, read, write in both English and Spanish
• At least three months of related experience preferred
• Familiar with the operation of production machinery

Push/Pull/Reach: Ability to push/pull fabric rolls, A-frames (approx.1500lbs): 10% of day

Bending: Ability to pick up objects from the floor: 25% of day 

Visual Acuity: Visual acuity adequate to perform job duties, including reading information from printed sources and computer screens.: 5% of day           

Cognitive: Alert. Able to make decisions, reason, and understand information. : 100% of day

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can vary depending upon the time of year and outside impacts.

Pay Transparency:

The hourly rate range for this position is $16.75 to $17.75; the exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and budget.
