POSITION OVERVIEW

The Team Lead provides day-to-day leadership for assigned production areas, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met. This role supports the Supervisor by coordinating team activities, monitoring equipment performance, and driving adherence to standard work practices. The Team Lead acts as a resource for training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and coordinate team members to meet daily production schedules and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and promote a culture of safe work practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High School degree or GED
• Ability to communicate at all levels and with the ability to understand and communicate ideas both verbally and written.
• Ability to read and follow production schedules.
• Good communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Must maintain regular and reliable attendance and be in good standing with the company, adhering to all policies and performance expectations.

CALIFICACIONES MÍNIMAS

• Título de secundaria o equivalente (GED).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to speak, read, write in both English and Spanish
• At least three months of related experience preferred
• Familiar with the operation of production machinery

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can vary depending upon the time of year and outside impacts.
