POSITION TITLE

Vice President of Marketing - Healthcare

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, the Vice President of Marketing will create and implement strategies that solve long-term business needs for our Healthcare Division. Reporting to the Division President, this new position will require a strong customer focus that includes gaining insights for creating, driving, and delivering brand value through marketing excellence, innovative products, and technology leading service.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead marketing globally for the Healthcare Division, building a growth and partnership-oriented function supporting the division’s most complex marketing challenges and delivering measurable financial value.   Customer focused leadership with expertise in branding, communications, customer insights, demand creation, customer experience (CX), customer service, marketing analytics, digital and martech tools.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Center of Excellence to drive marketing capabilities globally and represent the Healthcare Division on the Marketing Excellence Council, the enterprise marketing governing body
  • Contribute marketing insights and ideas to support the division’s growth strategy, representing the voice of the customer
  • Partner with key internal functions to ensure a frictionless customer experience across the entire buying journey to ensure satisfaction and loyalty; deploy clinical initiatives to drive advocacy
  • Develop marketing talent and capabilities across the division
  • Develop understanding and analysis of our markets and customers for potential synergies and growth opportunities
  • Brand strategy and management; ensuring alignment with master brand strategy and execution supporting Milliken’s corporate image in alignment with its purpose, values, and ethical standards
  • Integration of marketing and branding framework for acquisitions, enhancing the overall value
  • Drive “Business to Business” and “Business to Consumer” technology strategies and roadmap

 

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in similar senior marketing leadership role
  • 5+ years managing high performing teams with overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, and strategy execution
  • Experience in the Healthcare space, with an understanding of commercial and consumer driven marketing strategies
  • Experience with design software, CMS and DXP platforms with Milliken’s CRM software provider, SalesForce.
  • Ability to create and effectively manage annual budgets

  • Strong subject matter expertise with experience in healthcare, specifically medical device marketing and technology, and the ability to communicate, guide, and coach others across a variety of levels and functions within an organization
  • Collaborative, partnership focused, solution-oriented approach in working with the team
  • Strong partnership with the members of the Division Leadership Team in supporting their most complex challenges
  • Collaboration with the Chief Marketing Officer supporting both division and company initiatives, ensuring the division is aligned appropriately
  • Function as a visible champion and leader across the division
  • Handling challenging issues in a constructive way, and in the right communications venue
  • Independent Viewpoint: ability to positively challenge ideas, proposals, and strategies
  • Effective representative and collaborative partner to external entities

  • Strong rapport and alignment with the Division President, with a positive influence on the division leadership team
  • Ability to develop a high performing marketing organization, with a focus on the development of future talent
