Customer Service Representative

 

Location: Portsmouth NH but has the option to work a hybrid schedule or remotely.

 

Job Summary: 

This position is responsible for handling customer inquiries, entering and releasing customer orders, communicating to customers the status of their orders, filing, and supporting our outside sales team. Additional responsibilities may be required as job permits. The job is located at our office in Portsmouth, NH and reports to the Director of Customer Relations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with placement of orders, returns and refunds
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Collaborate with Credit, Tax department and division personnel to ensure customer accounts remain current and accurate

 

Qualifications - Required:

  • 3+ years of prior customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with MS Office and comfortable working in Excel
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday (8 hour shift)

 

Qualifications – Preferred:

  • SAP experience
  • B2B customer service experience
  • Bilingual
