POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years in medical/healthcare sales experience to join our team. This role entails strategy development across Market, Product and sales enablement/execution. This is a role that requires both strategic leadership and cross functional collaboration along with in the field customer engagement. This position requires significant travel (50-60%), with frequent travel both domestically and internationally.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with Division and Corporate leadership to develop short, mid, and long range growth strategy and execution plans for Sales, Product Improvement/Development, and Marketing, leveraging internal and external partners to drive commercial growth in cohesive and tape business channels
  • Conduct and direct competitive market research & analysis to impactfully position OVIK Health products in existing and adjacent markets
  • Lead strategy planning and contract negotiations with GPO and distributor partners across business segments, including market access strategy and pricing
  • Identify, foster, and develop Key Opinion Leader’s (KOL) to support OVIK Health’s mission as a category leader and voice of product and market segment influence
  • Foster, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers to position our product portfolio for growth accounting for new product and market introductions
  • Develop value propositions, pricing strategies, insights to foster new business opportunities
  • Be a leading voice in marketing initiatives and material creation to support sales effectiveness and global brand awareness and growth
  • Maintain existing relationships, and cultivate new partnerships with distributors
  • Communicate clear feedback and work plans to management team regarding sales performance, competitive activities, and key customer/market developments
  • Drive accountability and performance within our sales group thru our enablement partners and CRM systems
  • Participate in trainings, educational workshops, and challenging opportunities for enhancing business and career growth
  • Identify and attend market specific trade shows and conferences in support of our key business initiatives
  • Manage market channel managers to support growth initiatives
  • Other responsibilities as needed

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree in field in supportive of job responsibilities.  Business Administration, Business Communications, Marketing or Sciences are preferred
  • Master’s degree in Business, Communications, or related discipline preferred
  • 10+ years sales experience preferred in cohesives, tapes, medical, and/or healthcare product sales
  • Experience in retail and athletic markets/distribution a plus
  • Experience bringing new products to market, creating exponential growth
  • Demonstrated ability to both establish broad strategies and execute in the sales field
  • Familiarity with distribution partnerships, pricing strategies, and contract management
  • Proven record of critical thinking and proactive problem solving
  • Ability to effectively establish and manage customer relationships
  • Planning, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills, actively calling on accounts everyday with the ability to communicate with varying levels within the organization in clear, concise, and simple terms, even when relaying technical or complicated information
  • Self motivated with an inclination towards collaboration and proactive partnering
  • Willing to travel internationally and within the US up to 50%
