POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is located at our Portage, WI manufacturing facility. The Maintenance Engineering Intern will be working with our Engineering Services team on projects such as preventive maintenance program development and critical drawing updates.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help identify and log critical equipment
• Design spare part inventory system
• Work with leadership to enter PM’s into system
• Develop Clean/Inspect/Lubricate (CIL)’s for production
• Update Drawings for correctness
• Write procedures

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

• At least 18 years of age by June 5, 2023.
• Accepted or enrolled in a two-year or four-year college or university as a full-time student for 2023 fall semester. 
  • "Full time" requires each student to carry at least 12 credits per semester. 
  • Documentation of enrollment or acceptance into college must be provided at least 2 weeks prior to beginning work. 
  • Students enrolled in a graduate program will be considered only if more openings are available than the number of interested undergraduate candidates received.
• Available to work 10 consecutive weeks during the core months of June, July and August.  Time off for students may be granted for critical events and must be approved in advance by the manager of the department.
• Physically able to perform the essential elements of office and production jobs.

The successful candidate will have strengths in the following:

• Preferably pursing a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
