SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
- Safety specifications for technicians
- Actively participate in safety process
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Basic weaving knowledge/skills
- Tie warps across all product lines
- Style change OPW machines
- Perform draw/rereed/fill/tieback/weave/pick style changes on all machines
- Create style change packets
- Plan pieces in Barco Planboard
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventories
- Style change machines in Barco
- Manage Barco Planboard
- Follow up on style changes
- Follow up on Barco issues
- Follow up on SAP issues
- Issue and follow up on sample components
- Follow up on inventory issues
- Follow up on delivery issues
- Primary tie-in machine maintenance technician
- Act as primary tie-in trainer when needed
- Help correct bad warps (pull down warps, leases)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic Computer Skills – Excel, Word, Email, etc. Capable of Using and Learning PC for daily tasks
- SAP Knowledge – Capable of Using and Learning SAP Transactions
- Proactive – Deal with Issues Before They Become a Problem
- Organized – Must be Able to Handle Lots of Paperwork and Files. Files must be organized for Easy Retrieval
- People Skills – Must be Capable of Dealing with Managers, Business and Development Leaders, Fellow Team Members, Etc. in a Professional and Courteous Manner
- Multi-Tasker – Must be Able to Work on Many Different Tasks at the Same Time with No Errors
- Detail Oriented – Ensure Paperwork is Complete with No Missing Documentation Requirements; SAP Transactions are Correct
- Flexible Schedule – Must be able to work weekends, days, nights, as needed to ensure OPW Sample Turnaround is sufficient
