POSITION OVERVIEW

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for daily preventative and breakdown maintenance of all equipment used in production.  Equipment includes motors, valves & actuators, sensors, PLC/HMI programs, and other elements.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Maintenance and repairs on all production equipment
  • Project work, including conduit and wire install
  • Calibration of ISO-related equipment
  • Troubleshooting equipment up to 480Vac

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous electrical maintenance experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work alone on a rotating shift

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in chemical manufacturing
  • Previous experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming
  • Previous experience with hazardous materials
  • Previous experience with Maintelligence or other maintenance management system

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to use multiple hand tools to perform repairs
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to read CAD drawings

6 months

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity level can be more than 98% for 100% of day. 

 

SHIFT/WORK HOURS

Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands. 

  • 1st Shift: 7 AM – 3 PM 
  • 2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM  
  • 3rd Shift: 11 PM - 7 AM
