As a customer service associate you are responsible for the order processing of a specific product group of our EMEA customers. You will be the link between our Account Managers and the customer, building strong long-term relationships with both.

Responsibilities

  • You accurately process all incoming orders in SAP and are responsible for the complete processing, from order entry to sending the invoice to the customer. You will also keep the master data of our customers and materials up to date.
  • You send out price quotations in consultation with the account managers.
  • You maintain the price lists and ensure that the data is correctly loaded into SAP.
  • You check the availability of materials and ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • You ensure excellent complaint handling. You think proactively and commercially with the customer and you actively look for solutions to the challenges that arise.
  • You work closely with the warehouse for the monitoring of incoming goods and outgoing orders.
  • In order to be able to respond optimally to the demands of the customer, you keep in touch with the various internal departments (labs, planning, purchasing, production, etc.). You keep yourself actively informed and you make sure that you know who to contact.

Profile

  • You obtained a bachelor/master course with a focus on administration – commercial/business - languages.
  • You preferably have a first experience in customer service or sales support.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English. Additional language knowledge is an asset.
  • You have a commercial feeling and are customer oriented.
  • You are familiar with working with an ERP system. If this system is SAP, then this is a plus.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You are a real team player with strong interpersonal skills and drive.
  • You take initiative to solve problems and in stressful, ever-changing situations you keep a cool head.
