Position Summary
The Engineering Services Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating all maintenance and engineering services activities to support plant operations. This role ensures safe, efficient, and reliable operation of equipment while aligning with plant Safety, Quality, Production, Environmental, and Engineering objectives. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with leadership of personnel, systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily direction and prioritize work assignments to maximize efficiency.
- Lead and develop team members through coaching, training, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules and maintenance systems.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production and leadership teams.
- Troubleshoot breakdowns and lead root cause analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and training requirements.
- Support IT systems, asset tracking, and plant engineering projects. (Barco, MaintainX)
- Maintain shop organization, cleanliness, and operational standards.

- Strong electrical and controls knowledge.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Effective leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance systems.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Associate degree in Microprocessors, Electrical Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance or engineering.
- 5+years of electrical/controls troubleshooting experience (PLC, drives).
Working Conditions
Must support a 24/7 manufacturing environment and respond to after-hours calls as needed.
Compensation
$28.20 – $39.34 per hour (based on experience).
