Job Summary

As a customer service coordinator, you are responsible for the order processing of a specific product group. You will be the link between our Account Managers and the customer, building strong long-term relationships with both.

This position will report to the Regional Customer Service Manager, and is based in our Langenfeld, Germany office and technical center.


Key Responsibilities

  • You accurately process all incoming orders in SAP and are responsible for the complete processing, from order entry to sending the invoice to the customer. You will also keep the master data of our customers up to date.
  • You are the first point of contact for incoming inquiries from existing and prospective customers.
  • You check the availability of materials and ensure the accuracy of the inventory.
  • You build and strengthen customer relationships while considering each customer’s specific requirements and internal processes.
  • In order to respond optimally to customer requirements, you maintain close contact with the various internal departments (labs, planning, sourcing, production, etc.). You actively keep yourself informed and ensure that you know the appropriate contacts within the organization.
  • You use and implement processes and KPIs to enhance the quality and efficiency of customer satisfaction.
  • You ensure excellent complaint handling. You think proactively and commercially with the customer, and you actively look for solutions to the challenges that arise.

Profile

  • You obtained a bachelor/master degree with a focus on administration – commercial/business - languages.
  • You have a first experience in customer service or sales support.
  • You communicate fluently in German and English. Additional language knowledge is an asset.
  • You are familiar with working with an ERP system. If this system is SAP, then this is a plus.
  • You have a good knowledge of MS Office.
  • You are well organized, pay close attention to detail, and see the big picture when challenges arise.
  • You are a real team player with strong interpersonal skills and drive.
  • You have a strong service-oriented mindset and focus on resolving customer issues efficiently. You are capable to work independently while keeping a cool head and positive attitude even under high workload.
