Job Summary:

The serger position is in the Area Rugs Department and reports to the variable supervisor.  The serger position is responsible for sewing yarn around the edges of the rugs.  Some of the responsibilities of the sewer are:

• Receive rugs from the material handler
• Sew the color yarn that matches the label on the back of the rug
• Sew rugs according to the serging specifications
• Work with the inspectors
• Assist in other areas as needed

Qualifications – Preferred

• sewing experience

• 1st shift
