Job Description / Qualifications/ Responsibilities

Job Description

The Systems Supervisor will be responsible for managing, updating, and improving all digital systems at the Duncan Stewart location.

Overview

The Systems Supervisor will be responsible for solving complex problems and building robust digital solutions. This will include everything from converting outdated systems to cloud based software applications, to maintaining hardware solutions for production equipment. This role will be key in helping optimize performance, ensure security, and improve quality across all areas of the operation. This position will also coordinate help ticket resolution with corporate IT.

Schedule

7am – 5pm M-F with weekends and evenings as needed

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications
• Collaborate with management team to create innovative solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Ensure that systems adhere to corporate guidelines
• Stay current with best practices and emerging technologies
• Maintain digital systems (Cameras, ScreenCloud, ReGroup, Network File Access Control, Backup Services)

Preferred Experience

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)Knowledge of SQL
• Background in mobile application development
• Ability to design, write, and troubleshoot PLC programs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology
