Job Title:        Production Supervisor (Variable Overhead Supervisor)

 

Overview:

This primary purpose of a VOHS is to manage the Safety, Quality and Productivity of an   area within Live Oak Plant by monitoring and managing associates’ time and work performance.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Managing and entering associates’ work time

  • Oversee and facilitate the cross training and job rotation process for department

•  Making good safety, quality and productivity decisions

•  Monitoring and improving housekeeping and product/people flow

  • Managing and communicating range and people schedules
  • Complete associates’ attendance documentation

 

 

Requirements:

•  Ability to lead other associates

•  Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment

  • The ability to head a team successfully and resolve issues relating to personnel quickly and efficiently
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Enforces company policies and guidelines
  • Recruits, hires, and trains employees
  • Assists workers by offering personal growth opportunities

 

 

Note:  This is a first shift position, but is subject to weekend and night shift rotations
