Position:  Floor Covering Supply Chain Specialist

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Specialist will help to identify and define business requirements impacting master data strategy.  Once identified, he or she will develop and implement strategies with input from key stakeholders.  The position includes completing daily requests sent to the Supply Chain Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Master Data Team in:
  • Developing focused data definitions, business rules and standards for master data
  • Ensuring master data quality is maintained through analysis, validation and audit procedures
  • Managing master data projects and coordinating with stakeholders to meet project milestones
  • Developing, monitoring and enforcing data management policies, and standards globally
  • Resolving data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies collaborating with subject matter experts
• Automate existing reports for increased efficiency and accuracy, and develop new ad-hoc or recurring reports to provide business insight, support decision making, process governance and performance indicators.
• Enhance SC capabilities in data analytics using advanced tools, algorithims, and reporting.
• Lead data initiatives and analysis projects, building cross-team relationships
• Work with subject matter experts and process owners to improve data quality
• Provide subject matter expertise on team products and processes and the Company's data systems internal and external to the department
• Provide coordination for complex change requests, where necessary, to ensure that business processes are not disrupted by changes

Qualifications (minimum):

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• SAP or other ERP system experience
• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates effective communication skills and proven ability to work in a team environment
• Demonstrates problem solving skills and the ability to make decisions on data cleansing
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data quality

Qualifications (prefered):

• Experience in key systems including SAP, BI/BW, Power BI, SQL
• Supply Chain and Project Management experience or certification
