JOB DESCRIPTION
DMS Warping Operator
The Duncan M. Stewart associate participates in any improvement that is necessary to achieve a world class working environment. Total involvement in our program will enable Duncan M. Stewart to produce the best quality product in a safe and efficient manner.
Basic Job Responsibilities:
The Warping Operator follows all prescribed safety procedures and standard work instructions. The operator starts, stops, and locks out machine as necessary. Maintains all necessary documentation. Required to creel and backwind as needed. Communicates quality or machine issues to proper party. Works well with team. The Warper Operator transports yarn and moves warper beams using a lift truck.
Requirements:
Must be in good standing on Safety Engagement, Attendance, and Performance
Character qualities: Flexible, Team Player, Steady Performer
Must learn and sign off on 3 major job skills (creeler, warper operator, lift truck operator).
Must be able to use a calculator and do basic entries on the machine’s computer
Will learn to make SAP transactions on computer
Must be able to communicate well with others, and in respectful manner.
