JOB DESCRIPTION

Modra Level III Operator

The associate participates in any improvement that is necessary to achieve a world class working environment.  Total involvement in our program will enable Duncan Stewart Plant to produce the best quality product in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a 2nd Shift 4 pm - 12 am position

Basic Job Responsibilities:

The Modra Level 3 Operator is responsible for creeling packages via RoCAS and operating the winders, to include set-up and running winders to create first quality creels via trolley.  The associate will be responsible for safety, quality, minimizing waste, repairs, documentation and production.

The minimum requirement is to demonstrate level 3 skills and knowledge for backwinding.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Move trollies with pallet jack
2. Yarn knowledge & skill (threading, tie off, stripping, check yarn quality & color)
3. RoCAS (Basic operation start/stop clear yarn jams)
4. Maintain housekeeping and 5S
5. Complete, update, and maintain RoCAS performance metrics
6. Basic RoCAS Troubleshooting
7. DTM knowledge, skill & tracking on RoCAS
8. Upload RoCAS Orders
9. Ablility to communicate and train on RoCAS standard work
10. Burn-in Tufting Machine
