The Operator follows all prescribed safety procedures and standard work instructions. The operator starts, stops, and locks out machine as necessary. Maintains all necessary documentation (blue book and operator performance sheet).  Watches for quality issues and corrects, repairs, and mends issues. Ensures 0 crossed-ends.  Doffs rolls. Works with material handler to change backing. Required to creel as needed.  The Operator can properly change tufting needles, knives and loopers.  Communicates quality or machine issues to proper party. Works well with QC, Technicians, Creelers, and Management.




Must be in good standing on Safety Engagement, Attendance, and Performance

Must be able to use a calculator and do basic entries on the machine’s computer

Must be able to communicate well with others, and in respectful manner.

Creeling experience is preferred.
