POSITION TITLE
Johnston Plant Intern
POSITION OVERVIEW
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting real business priorities within Process Improvement Department. The intern will contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop skills aligned to professional growth and business impact. This role is designed to provide practical experience in a fast-paced environment while building foundational capabilities in problem solving, communication, and teamwork.
This internship is a full-time (40 hours/week), paid position that is 11–12 weeks in length during the summer of 2027, located at our Johnston location.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support day-to-day activities and key projects within Process Improvement
- Conduct research, analysis, or data review to support business decisions
- Assist in developing reports, presentations, or process documentation
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the organization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiency gains
- Present project findings, recommendations, or results
QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED
- Candidates with or working toward a BS Engineering
- Strong user of Microsoft Office suite of products, with advanced Excel skills.
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS – PREFERRED
- Exposure to Microsoft Office Systems
- Prior internship, project, or relevant experience
