Associate: Support Operator (Cleaner) - Hudson Plant

POSITION REPORTS TO:

Hudson Plant Supervisor

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Performs a wide variety of cleaning and janitorial duties

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regular and predictable attendance

 

Support Operator:

  • Clean, mop and stock bathrooms daily and as needed
  • Mop production floor – One section per day
  • Clean and mop breakrooms daily. Clean lunchroom equipment as needed including refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, etc.
  • Clean floors in offices and production areas.
  • Empty trash containers as needed breakroom and production floor.
  • Assist with snow removal and assure that walkways and stairs are clear of ice and snow.
  • Monitor supply of janitorial, breakroom supplies
  • Performs other related duties as required or directed.
  • Complete daily waste worksheet

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Six months of janitorial experience

 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Textile knitting experience

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent hand/eye coordination
  • Adaptability – adapts to changes in the work environment
  • Attention to detail – thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task ensuring all aspects are reviewed
  • Ability to identify and classify defects

 

 

AUTHORIZED TRAINING TIME

12-16 Weeks

WORK ENVIRONMENT/SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION

This job operates in a manufacturing facility. This position is a safety-sensitive position and regularly works around moving mechanical parts and powered industrial vehicles. Noise level is generally loud. Temperatures can be more than 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Humidity level can be more than 98% for 100% of day. 

 

SHIFT/WORK HOURS

Shift schedule will depend on open positions at time of hire and will be communicated with new hire paperwork. Weekends and holidays are scheduled depending on business demands. 

  • 1st Shift: 6 AM – 4 PM
