Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of 5 years hospital and/or wound care sales experience to join our team. The Clinical Sales Manager, EMEA will drive sales growth across the full range of OVIK Health products while supporting the EMEA region in delivering training to distributors, KOL’s and key reference centres and to assist in the implementation and adoption of OVIK Health products in all markets with emphasized focus on key medical markets. This position requires significant travel (75-80%) including occasional weekly overnight travel. This position should be based near a major airport and is a regionally based role with responsibility across the Europe, Middle East, and Asian markets.
Responsibilities
- Drive overall growth, through promotion and sale of the full range of OVIK Health products
- Identify, foster and develop KOL’s within key regional target areas
- Foster, maintain and grow relationships with existing and new customers to position our product portfolio for growth as well as new product introductions
- Provide feedback to management team regarding sales performance, competitive activities and key customer/market developments
- Timely submission of essential business reports as noted by manager, including updating our CRM and actively engaging and communicating across team and the organization
- Develop and execute on targeted call plan with manager and record activities in CRM
- Support senior sales team on strategies and lead generating efforts
- Support the EMEA region by training distributor sales representatives and product specialists
- Identifying and building relationships with new and existing key opinion leaders in clinics to ensure that their current practices with OVIK Health products are according to instructions and accepted general practices
- Assist with investigations related to customer feedback regarding the use of OVIK Health products
- Collaborate with the European Sales Director, and EMEA Clinical and Sales group to design implement the strategic plan in facitilitation of the short and long term growth of the region
- Deliver accurate information on lost business from a clinical perspective
- Assist in the development of the regional marketing plan, specifically advising on realistic product adoption timelines
- Identify new product and commercial opportunities to grow the business
- Attending shows/conferences as necessary
- Set up and coordinate clinical trials on OVIK Health products in conjuction with the product line manager(s).
Qualifications (minimum)
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
- Registered Adult Nurse with min 5 years clinical experience at senior level, highly preferred
- 5+ Years of experience in a commercial growth, Business development, and/or sales role within wound care, medical, or related markets
- 2+ years of proven sales success in 10%+ growth across EMEA markets
- Post graduate qualified (PGCert/PGDip/MSc) in wound healing and/or vascular/compression therapy work experience
- Thorough understanding of leg ulcer management, wound healing principles and practices
- Ability to develop training and educational materials and deliver training according to practitioners experience
- Experience in undertaking clinical research, medical writing and publication (GCP certified ideally)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Demonstrates effective communication skills and proven ability to work on their own and in a team environment
- Proven ability to self manage and collaborate with remote work teams globally
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SalesForce, and/or similar CRM platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience of leg ulcer management in EMEA
- Post graduate qualified (PGCert/PGDip/MSc) in wound healing and/or vascular/compression therapy
- A proven willingness to travel globally, with primary office/home base location in close proximity of a major airport
- Role may be located anywhere within Region, though Central Europe is preferred
