Position:  Healthcare – Medical/Advanced Wound Care Territory Sales Manager

 

Milliken Healthcare: Milliken Healthcare is a leading manufacturer of Healthcare, Animal Health, Sports Medicine and Retail products. The sports medicine product line includes strong, flexible taping solutions that offer all day support and performance. Our customers consist of Athletic Trainers in the US and Canada, who we supply through distribution.

 

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated individual with 2-4 years hospital and/or wound care sales experience to support in-service and sales programs with hospital networks and wound care centers. This role entails lead generation and product education to produce sales growth. Cold calling, customer visits (virtual and/or in-person when available) and building relationships are essential in this role. This position requires significant travel (75-80%) including occasional weekly overnight travel. This position should be based near a major airport and is a multi-state territory.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Actively call on clincians to generate new sales opportunities via cold calling, email, LinkedIn and tracking in SalesForce.com.
  • Road warrior: travel to national accounts to conduct in-services to wound centers (with COVID we have been booking virtual in-services until we are able to visit accounts).
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Support senior sales team on strategies and lead generating efforts.
  • Attend regional and national medical conferences.

 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree
  • 2-4 years sales experience - Selling to Hospitals and/or wound care centers
  • Familiarity with hospitals and sales in-servicing
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to effectively establish and manage customer relationships
  • Planning and organization skills
  • Strong communication skills, actively calling on accounts everyday
  • Must be willing to travel within the United States on a weekly basis
