Summary: The Weft Creeler plays a critical role in supporting continuous weaving operations by preparing, loading, and maintaining weft yarn packages on looms or creels. This position ensures that weaving machines run efficiently by minimizing downtime, maintaining yarn quality, and following established safety and production standards.

Load, mount, and secure weft yarn packages onto creels according to production specifications.

Thread yarn ends through guides, tension devices, and feeders to ensure proper flow into the weaving machine.

Monitor yarn supply levels and replace empty packages promptly to prevent machine stoppages.

Assist loom operators by ensuring all weft yarns are correctly positioned and ready for production.

Identify and correct yarn breaks, tangles, or tension issues.

Maintain clean and organized creel areas to support smooth machine operation

Inspect yarn packages for defects such as knots, slubs, or inconsistent winding.

Follow all plant safety procedures, including proper handling of yarn packages and equipment.

Maintain compliance with company policies, housekeeping standards, and operational guidelines.

Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.

Ensure correct yarn type, color, and lot number are used for each production run.

Report quality issues to supervisors and help troubleshoot root causes.
