Job Summary: The position is located in Blacksburg, SC at the Milliken Magnolia Finishing Plant and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving
-ordering raw materials
-production planning and scheduling
-warehouse and distribution
-storage of raw materials and finished goods
-on time delivery
- Establish collaborative internal and external relationships that ensure all aspects of the process operate successfully throughout the total supply chain
- Identify and implement continuous improvement to the supply chain process
- Understand and effectively use the SAP planning systems to manage master data
- Train, develop, and coach supply chain associates who are direct reports:
-Foster a working environment that promotes open communications, teamwork and individual engagement to accomplish goals and objectives
-Ensure that work is properly allocated and completed in a timely and accurate manner
-Ensure that written performance evaluations of associates are completed as required; provide continuous feedback on personal performance issues; take immediate action to recognize achievements and address deficiencies or problems
-Ensure safety rules are clearly understood and followed
Qualifications - Required:
- BS degree
- 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
