Job Description: Responsible for selling a variety of Technical Textiles to the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Industrial Companies.

 

Duties

  • Educate target Companies to successfully pull through product sales via direct customers
  • Work with direct customers to manage inventory and supply finished products to end users
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and reports, such as call reports, work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques
  • Service existing accounts, obtains orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential customers
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports and making recommendations to management
  • Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned leading industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration
  • Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success
  • Forecast sales to enable operations planning, introduce product innovations and maintain active memberships.
     
     
    This position will report to the Asia Region Head based in Singapore.
     
    Travel would be approximately 50% of time
     
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
     
    Education:       Bachelor’s in Chemistry or Chemical engineering
     
    Experience:     5+ years’ experience in a sales role of increasing importance in a B-to-B multinational
     
    Skills:              Strong sales, negotiation and relationship building skills with good business sense
    Good communication skills
    Excellent hunter skills.
    Ability to work effectively within the organization and build effective working relationships at multiple levels
    Well organized, able to prioritize work and self-motivated
    Familiar with sales management tools
     
    Languages:      English and Mandarin
