We look for the following qualities in our summer interns:

- A communicator - effective oral and written communication skills
- An organizer - organizational skills
- A thinker - analytical and logical approach to problem solving
- A team player - effective team skills
- A leader - self-confidence
- A worker - strong work ethic
What Will You Do?
The majority of our summer project work is in our manufacturing locations. As a summer intern, you'll focus on a specific project that relates to your location's key performance areas.
Each intern is teamed with a Milliken associate who serves as the intern's sponsor. Your sponsor is there for guidance and support, but interns have full responsiblity for managing their project.
Where Can You Go?
The ultimate goal of our summer internship process is to recruit interns into full-time Milliken management positions upon graduation.
Examples of career fields for post-internship are:
- Process/Product Improvement
- Manufacturing Management
- Finance
- Research and Product Development
