Who Do We Hire?
The majority of Milliken’s entry-level positions are in Process and Product Improvement. A significant number of graduates hired into this area have an engineering major and become Process/Product Engineers. Individuals with technical majors and humanities majors are also hired into this area and are Process/Product Specialists.
The skills and personal qualities that make an individual successful in Process and Product Improvement are:

What Will You Do?
On a daily basis, you are responsible for identifying areas where improvements and innovations can be made to products and processes at your plant. You’ll work closely with Milliken associates in the production area to make sure customers are receiving a world-class product. You’ll also be involved in improvement projects that seek to reduce operational costs, improve machine performance and increase value to our customers.
Where Can You Go?
You can move into career areas outside of the Process/Product Improvement career field or you can be promoted to more responsible positions aligned with Process/Product Improvement.
